Ongoing learning is going well in grade 7. We just finished our Fractions unit in math and are going on to Equations. Science we are almost done the Plants unit.
We encourage students to go out and get some fresh air. I will provide Mr. Couper's fitness material on my classroom as well.

Things are evolving and we are learning how to teach online. Some modifications I have made this week is to our Google Meet times. Our meet times are not mandatory and they are meant to be for you to come and ask questions regarding your Math and Science. Instead of 2 hour blocks of time we are going to work with this new schedule. If it works out well we will continue it. Also I will be posting Math and Science tasks on Mondays so you have time throughout the week to work on it at your own pace. While the practice work does not need to be submitted anything that is in a Google Form format must be submitted so I can review it and post your mark in PowerSchool. You will not see grades in Google Classroom.

All class assignments are posted on Tuesdays (for Math) and Thursdays (for Science). You have a week to complete the work. Everything will be done through Google Classroom, please read ALL instructions carefully for the assignments.

Just to clarify and outline what the expectations are. I will be posting a Math task every Tuesday. You are required to do 3 hours of Math per week. I will be posting a Science task every Thursday. You are required to do 2 hours of Science per week. I will be available to meet with you using Google Meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-3 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 am. Grade 7 Telus Spark Field Trip
