The focus this week 5 of school is to finish lessons in Exponent laws 1-5. On Friday Oct 23rd, 2020 students will have a quiz on Exponent Laws 1 and 2.
Students will be completing 2 assignments:
- Exponent Law 3 "Powers to a Power"
- Exponent Law 4 & 5 "Power of a Product & Power of a Quotient"
Please ensure you talk to your son/daughter regarding homework and assignment completion. Mathematics requires continuous effort daily to ensure the student remains caught up.
This week in Hub 9 Mathematics(Bencini) Students will be expanding their understandings of Exponents with the introduction of 5 exponent laws. There will be 2 assignments with videos to summarize, explain, expand upon this knowledge. There will be a quiz created on the Exponents Basics/Power of 10/Exponent of Zero (Previous weeks assignments) that will available on Wednesday Oct 14th, 2020 for students to complete.
As of Wed Oct 14th, 2020 Lessons will be recorded and put online each week with teacher discretion. (These lessons will be visible through Content/Recorded Lessons)

I was hoping to have a more interactive platform for students to talk to me but for now were using Google classroom. I am trying to get permission to allow 1 hour blocks for 9-1 and 9-2 where you can literally talk to me online and ask questions. Hopefully this will be coming soon.
