The kids in Room 14 have been working hard on developing their stamina to read quietly to themselves for a period of time. We have just about reached the 20 minute mark. To celebrate this accomplishment, we are going to have a Pajama Day on Friday, October 25. You child has the choice of wearing their P.J.'s to school. Check to make sure they will be comfortable and able to move feely in their P.J.'s and that they are safe to wear while participating in P.E. Nightgowns will work if your child wears a pair of shorts or tights underneath. Your child may wear slippers as their indoor shoes. The slippers must have a slip proof sole that will be safe to go outside in during a fire drill. Your child will be expected to wear their indoor runners during P.E. Each child will need to bring a small stuffy and a book from home to use as part of our Pajama Day activities.
