We are learning fractions and reviewed arrays and multiplication/division fact families as students need to practice daily to reinforce this basic and necessary knowledge.
We will also be reviewing the analog clock and connect it to fractions.
In social, we examined the value of community in the country of Peru. We spent our time looking at resources that are or are not present in many parts of the world.
Students now have their google email addresses to better support their learning through the use of Google docs. Now they can access their work from any computer. They are preparing their animal research projects to place on PowerPoint and they will be presenting over the next few weeks.
On our field trip, students had a very special and somewhat emotional day releasing our young fish into the pond to swim with the big “fish”. We hope they grow strong!
Students said their sad goodbyes to our little fellows and hiked to explore the natural habitat that borders the Bow River.
