Zach was our Star this week and is learning to be a responsible student. Zach has the best manners and uses please and thank you a lot.
We had Music Therapy on Monday and had so much fun learning new songs with Kate. Music therapy helps us to identify patterns and rhythms by using different and interesting instruments. We always look forward to this time.
On Wednesday, the entire school was involved in National Winter Walk Day. We all went outside together and walked around the block which took us 30 minutes. What a great way to get fresh air and exercise. We were so pleased that the weather warmed up a bit.
This morning we learned about the Olympic Opening Ceremonies. We had a school assembly and the grade 6 students told us interesting facts about the Olympics. We encourage everyone to cheer on Team Canada and watch the Olympics with their families.
We were looking forward to celebrating our 100 Days at School this morning, however, the weather is too cold to walk to Humpty's. We will be changing the date of this celebration to Tuesday, February 13th from 11-1pm. We can hardly wait to wear our "100 Days Brighter" hats to our fun lunch.
Have a good weekend and see everyone back on Monday with their Weekend News.
