Jason was our star for our first week back after March Break. Jason continues to be a great leader in our class and is very independent. Thank you for your help, Jason.
Our new student, Braeden, has now started with us full-time and is settling in very nicely. We are so proud of our students as they have been very kind and caring towards Braeden, helping him to feel a part of our class. Well done, SKILL 1!
We are beginning a brand new unit on safety in our community and have been exploring important signs. Some of these signs include, stop, girls/boys bathroom, danger, crosswalk, go and exit. Our Occupational Therapist did a great lesson on Thursday afternoon helping us to learn what these signs look like. Our non-verbal children added to this lesson as we have put the signs on our classroom speech device.
We are so disappointed this morning as the weather is way too cold to walk. We have been learning about Spring and would like to see more signs of it outside. It still is fun to sing songs about Robins as well as read Spring books.
Keep warm and please remember to complete your weekend news for Monday.
