Braeden was our star this week and learned all about the star responsibilities. With a little support, Braeden was able to hand out the water bottles all by himself. He also did the classroom recycling and we were very proud of him. Thank you, Braeden.
We are very busy getting ready for our Spring Performance on Thursday, May 3rd at 9 am and 6:30 pm. We are all performing and 3 of our students will be signing in the choir. We can't wait to show you our amazing work.
We continue to review important signs in the community as they help to keep us safe. Some additional signs and words that we learned this week include; poison, recycle, hospital and restroom. We played a matching game where we had to put the correct words with their signs. What a fun way to increase our understanding.
Our grade 6 buddies have been absolutely wonderful supporting us throughout our school year. Yesterday when they came, we set up three centres which included, bowling, ring toss and dominos. Our buddies helped us to work through activities and we always appreciate their help.
We are SO happy that the nice weather is here once again. It will make our community walk this morning that much better.
Have a restful weekend.
