Zach was our star this week and was very responsible handing out the water bottles. Thank you for your help, Zach!
We had a short but busy week. We started our assessments for the upcoming IPP's and Report Cards. We have learned so much since September and feel proud of how far we have come.
Some of our students are learning how to tell time to the hour and half hour in math. We try to have these students say the time throughout the school day by looking at the classroom clock. This would be an excellent strategy to practice at home as well.
On Thursday we went for a walk to Canyon Meadows Dentist where Mrs. Rowntree goes to have her teeth checked. We learned how to keep our teeth healthy, sat in the dentist chair and looked at x-rays. We even got a very fun treat bag to take home with us. The hygienist and dentist were very pleased to receive their thank you card that we made for them. It was such a fun morning.
Today we have our school Skip for Health event. We will be practicing skipping outside as a school and learning how to keep our bodies in shape. It is a lovely morning so we are looking forward to getting outside in the fresh air.
Have a great weekend. Please read your home reading book : )
